Time Flies when you're having fun!

Wow, it's been a while since I posted for the first and only time. A lot has happened since then, especially our move to town. Hopefully I can get in a groove and start working on my Back Home page more often.....

Icy Chill

Here on our homeplace there's an icy chill in the air, like you've stepped into a freezer. On the south pond our three ducks swim round and round inside a circle of water surrounded by a thin crust of ice. They will be more than ready to receive their ration of corn by evening time after working so hard all day to protect their beloved pond from this icy takeover. For us tomorrow promises to be a warmer day, outside chores will be put aside till the sun shines bright again. Hot chocolate, a good book and a cozy blanket will be in order today. It's so good to be in a snug warm home.
